Vino de Eyzaguirre or “Wine in the Sack” is produced in Chile’s Colchagua Valley, one of the finest wine growing regions in the world. During colonial times, when wine was transported in open, horse-drawn carts, the bottles were wrapped in burlap to protect them from both sunlight and bumpy roads. This wine’s handcraft tradition remains till this very day.
